In 1991, Nilaree & Jeffery Manning started the company in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In 2001, recognizing the growth potential the southeast had to offer they moved the business to the Birmingham, Alabama area. Early growth was based upon word of mouth from general contractors, building our reputation of completing all projects ahead of schedule, integrating our work with other contractors and minimizing job change orders.  In addition, our ability to retain skilled employees and to steadily build relations with vendors has increased our efficiency and productivity while driving down the cost of materials.  Our goal for a steady, controlled growth process has moved the business to over three million dollars annually.

The growth of our business has not affected our basic commitment to excellence.  At J. A.
